Delete your account

Last updated October 1, 2026.

What deleting removes

Deleting your Dumper account removes, from our servers, all of the following — permanently, and it cannot be undone:

  • Your account record — email, name and postal address.
  • Your sessions, including this website's sign-in.
  • Everything you synced — tasks, notes, brain dumps, journal entries, habits, repeating tasks, bookmarks, reminders, categories, workspaces — for all devices on the account.
  • The files you attached.
  • Your subscription record; Premium access and its AI allowance end with the account and the plan will not renew.

Content that never left your device — anything you did not sync, and the app's local database itself — is not reachable by us. Deleting the app from your device, or items inside it, removes those directly.

How to request deletion

Write to us from the email address on your Dumper account, and say you want the account deleted. We verify the request against that address and carry it out — usually within a few days, and at the latest within 30 days, with provider backups aging out within 30 days after that.

Requests from an address we cannot match to an account will be answered with a question first — that check keeps someone else from deleting your account.

Before you delete

Deleting the account stops cloud sync on every device; after that, each device keeps only what is already stored locally on it. If you want a copy of your content first, export what you need from the app — or say so in your deletion email and we will help.

What we keep afterwards

Only short-lived technical traces remain, until they age out on their own: request logs and rate-limit records, described in thedata policyandprivacy policy.
